Job Description

Are you passionate about social media and learning in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for a workplace that openly welcomes diverse and intersectional identities? Are you someone who can describe your own social media presence in three words?

We are looking for a social media intern to help build our clients’ communities on social media through social listening and engaging community management tactics. This candidate will work directly with our Social Media Manager and Social Media Coordinators. This internship is part-time and paid, with an hourly rate of $20/hr. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Community management on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
    • Respond to all users in a timely and professional manner, alerting the team of anything urgent that would need to be addressed with the client
    • Monitor, track and report on feedback and DMs, in-platform and through social listening software
    • Encourage follower growth through active engagement tactics and “feeding the algorithm” by liking, commenting and sharing relevant content on a daily basis
  • Content planning and content scheduling on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
    • Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, specifically on Instagram and TikTok, providing any insights that would help shape future content efforts
    • Once the content has been approved by the client, schedule through our social media software, then making sure it is published and free of any errors
  • Bonus points if you have experience with:
    • Content creation on your mobile device and photo editing software (i.e., Canva, Unfold, VSCO)
    • Adobe Creative Suite, or any other design software
    • Copywriting and/or providing direction for all social media captions
    • Project management software, specifically Airtable and Asana
    • Making playlists and bringing energy to the office!


  • Bachelor’s Degree student or graduate student
  • Skilled user of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Experience with social media analytics (i.e., Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Falcon)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to excel and grow in a small boutique agency environment
  • Must love disco (kidding, kind of)
